POLICIES
-
All lessons are to be paid for before the start of the session. Term fees are to be paid before the beginning of the first lesson of the term. We will send you an invoice giving you a direct bank transfer option. Please have the invoice number and student’s full name in the description.
-
Should the courts be unusable due to wet weather the coach will declare a ‘wash out’ and will endeavour to notify students at their earliest convenience. Any kids or group lessons declared a ‘wash out’ will either be made up at an alternative date either in the final week of term or on the school holidays or AP Tennis may ask you to book into a make-up class on an alternative day. When the temperature reaches 37 degrees and over at the Tennis Club, all coaching sessions will be suspended until the temperature drops. Please be aware the temperature will be taken at the venue and your safety is our primary concern.
-
Apart from lessons cancelled by AP Tennis, missed group lessons due to factors outside of our control do not warrant a make up lesson or reduced term fee (example: Dentist appointment, holidays and school camps). However, if the reason for a missed lesson is due to medical factors and a medical certificate is provided, we will make arrangements for the student to be placed in another lesson for a make-up.
Private lessons require 12 hours notice or a cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson price will be payable.
Should the medical illness be long term a refund may be provided with a medical certificate at the discretion of AP Tennis.

Your privacy is important to us. The data collected from you will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent. The email address you provide may be used to send you information, subscribe you to our newsletter, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.

I acknowledge that AP Tennis may film, use video analysis and photography during programs, lessons and events. I acknowledge and agree that this usage, including for marketing and promotion purposes, is without compensation or notice to myself. Images may be used on our website, social media and other promotional material. Should you have any objections, please raise them with AP Tennis.
-
I hereby authorise the staff of AP Tennis to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention. I release AP Tennis from any and all liability for injury or illness and costs, incurred while undertaking a program or event with AP Tennis.
-
Your fees are payable by the due date on the invoice which is in most cases due on or before the date of your first lesson of the term. Our costs don’t change if you attend your group lesson or not. We have held your place and by booking your group lesson you have made a commitment for a term payment. Payment is not attendance based and no refunds or credits will be given if you miss a lesson for any reason. If you suffer from a long-term injury (where you won’t be able to participate for the remainder of a term) then with a doctor’s certificate a credit will be issued.
-
AP Tennis encourages all parents during tennis sessions not to enter the court while your child is having their lesson. This enables both the coach and student/s to concentrate entirely on the lesson, create independence for the child, promote a child’s decision-making skills and build the student-coach relationship.
